Real life 2.0: Obamalentendu

(long silence)

50 Women in Technology

Is there a better way to begin the week?

Orli is among the bunch of women who lead me to try to become who I am. Those whose advices and point of view are important to me. I learn a lot messaging time to time with Orli and regurlarly reading her blog, her friendfeeds' activity etc.

So, when she announced that she had created an interactive slideshows of 50 blogs written by 50 power women, I've ran to see it. Most are new to me but there are some I really appreciate. I agree with Orli, they are wonderful bloggers that worth reading.

If I were totally honnest, I would say that this is the first time I see an error in her flawless judgements because she has included me in the list, but at this time, I'm too proud that she has thought of me!

Private message to the one who will recognize oneself

As more and more people come and read this blog, I guess it could be the last private message I'm going to write here. Hear. I discovered yesterday that someone very close to me comes secretly here without even telling me a word about it.

Guess_who

I also guess it might be your secret and now mine.

You probably use this GPS. They call it Cheap GPS, but they are wrong. As we both know "Don't ask your way to somebody who knows it, because you would risk to not loose you..."

Walk through my words as often as you want.

Oui, himself
. Pour me demander d'être son amie. Dieu et moi en avons 5 en commun. C'est peu.

Fb

Oy veh ! J'avoue que j'hésite. Confirm ? Ignore ?

Enjoy and spread the word ;-)

Feedback: Lijit without glitch

Lijit without glitch

A couple of days ago I signed up for Lijit. For those unfamiliar with Lijit, Ouriel blogged about it with enthousiasm last summer, wich is how I discovered it -- yes this is THE full warranty. So, save your time by not reading what is following and directly go sign up. Really, go!

Still there? Ok here are some "reasonable reasons" why I've got a crush on Lijit.

  • First, before it provides you a pretty cool wijit (watch it, the widget of lijit which is not glitz), you have to register. Usual.
Used to services that ask for id, email address, pwd and then let you go all by yourself? Forget the loneliness as soon as you put your name on Lijit. Lijit accompanies you on the long and boring road, gently, with a neat, simple and quick magic touch. It lets you see it already knows you without being intrusive. In less time it takes to realize you're an SNS addicted, you're in. All your accounts are listed. The more coherent you are, the quickest it finds you, but you can play hide-and-seek with ;-) Three settings and two clicks after, it's allready on your blog.
Well, nice, but what can it do for you that other search tools can't ?
  • There are things it is better to self-experiment rather than to be explained. Try my Lijit, enter a word and see what Lijit offers and how. Experiment the way it seems totally built in the blog and be surprised by the way it also accompanies you in your search. A damned fluid application! That's the way it interacts with you as a reader. But be careful, if you are a blogger and adopt it, it feeds you with the evil paradise of your blog stats! Don't look at this page, never! ;-)
Note: At this time I do not have retrospect enough to speak about my own results or stats, but with a little help of more readers, it should come one day or another.
  • Believe it or not, there's another incredible feature! With each wijit, Lijit attaches a real human evangelist who accompagnies you on the way. Skeptical ? Try it!

Disclosure: To be honnest it was not the first time I signed up. I already use Lijit on Crickee blogs, not only because the logo is pretty nice, the name really good, the design of their site really great or their blog quite well writen -- wich also could be excellent reasons though.
So, few days after my sign-up for Crickee's blogs, I received a kind email from
Tara. And yesterday I also received another nice email from Barney. It was not the same email! In a world where more and more emails are standardized and impersonal both took time to read blogs and send a personalized email, with rewarding thoughts.

Lijit

I do not have a lot of certitudes, but I know that Lijit has got the vavavoom touch*: a useful tool that works simply and quite well, plus -- and that makes the most part of the vavavoom -- a great team, good devs and involved evangelists. All that I can say from my own experience is that both give a real and honnest attention to users. Even if I know how it works, and probably because I know how it works, giving me for a while the feeling that I am someone unique among the flock is a nice experience -- of course me, myself and I have also an ego ;-)

Thanks to that, Lijit is more than a tool, it is also a pleasant tour guide accompanist. Think about it, that's unusual and rare enough to be mentionned.

So, really, stop reading and go sign up. Now!

Seesmic

Is Seesmic the Tecktonik of Social Video Network?

First test with Seesmic

Live the bugs alive! It sounds the Seesmic Team has decided to eradicate all the bugs!

Awesome project, neat way to work on it, amazing tool to collect users feedback.

Note: Don't remind me I've said I would never podcast something by myself. If seesmic can change my mind, it could be a real landslide. More to come about never say never ...
